The be Berlin campaign launched an initiative for freedom under the hashtag #FreiheitBerlinLA. To portray Berlin as an international ambassador of freedom, cultural events in Los Angeles highlighted the capital’s many facets and initiated a dialogue with their Sister City on the subject of freedom. Visitors had the chance to interact and learn about the tech, music, food, design, film and art scenes in Berlin.


The festival was closed out at The Theatre at Ace Hotel, with the international premiere of the TV series, Babylon Berlin. The series, set in 1920’s Berlin, is based off the bestselling novels by Volker Kutscher and is coming to Netflix.


BOLD was responsible for the overall communication, media partnerships, social media and PR of Berlin Week occurring in the first week in October, as well as management of social media for Babylon Berlin.
