Quixit is a multiplatform app, that easily transforms your favourite snapshots and images from digital to analog. Through a simple order process your pictures will be printed under a layer of acrylic glass, a nice and high-class way of presenting and preserving your memories! Our friends over at MADE Space are known for showcasing the extraordinary. We are very excited about their next project and you should be too!

5 CUTS | A VISUAL DIALOGUE is a video installation centered around the spirit of one of the few remaining timeless craftsmen and most fascinating personalities of our time: YOHJI YAMAMOTO.
Yohji Yamamoto is globally admired and celebrated for his unique attitude and approach in the fashion world, while being paradoxically reduced to it at the same time. 5CUTS | A VISUALDIALOGUE attempts toliberate him from this fashion spotlight by focusing on Yamamoto’s true essence and core being.
The installation brought to life at MADE does not focus on Yohji Yamamoto’s extraordinary skill in dressmaking. Rather, it shines an authentic and creative light behind the very prominent façade of this visionary man.

After a private opening in attendance of Mr. Yohji Yamamoto
the installation will be open to the public from Sunday, April 28.

BUGABOO X ANDY WARHOL VERNISSAGE

Ever since Bugaboo founder Max Barenbrug first developed his vision of a revolutionary stroller, the brand evolved apart from standard paths and ideas. Their latest limited edition makes no exception: Bugaboo joined forces with the Andy Warhol Foundation to release a collection – actually two collections.
Bugaboo applied two iconic motifs by Andy Warhol to their strollers, the well-known Flower theme and the a little less known Cars print.

Both series are available from May 2013 on and feature tailored fabric sets for the Bugaboo models Cameleon3, Donkey and Bee. So there is still some waiting until you can get your hands on these beautiful new styles – but don’t worry, you can already take part at the sneak preview. Both collections will be introduced on Wednesday April 10th at Galerie Deschler, Auguststrasse 61 in 10117 Berlin.

The vernissage takes place Wednesday evening at 7PM, and all of you are cordially invited to join us for some drinks, burgers & cheesecakes and – of course – an exclusive peek at the new Bugaboo series, The Flowers Collection and The Cars Collection. The exhibition is open on Thursday and Friday as well, between 11AM and 6PM.

CHEERS! STEFAN STRUMBEL X WARSTEINER

We at BOLD love art. We also love beer, but you maybe knew that already. Imagine how much we love it when both get together!? Warsteiner cooperated with Stefan Strumbel for his latest exhibition at 10th ART Karlsruhe. Besides the actual installation itself, the cooperation materialized in form of a special pack that was given out to friends and family. Take a look at the package below, consisting of a limited Warsteiner bottle, a football-fan scarf, a nice set of stickers and a booklet with interviews of both Stefan Strumbel and Andy Chiu of Warsteiner. We already mentioned it Monday on our Facebook page, but just could’nt resist to further push this great new song by our beloved LARY! GIRLS LOVE: URBAN FRIENDSHIPS BY JULES MUMM

On International Women’s Day, Jules Mumm surprised ladies in Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg and Stuttgart to celebrate the very special spirit of female friendship.

Urban knitting artist Oryanne Dufour spent months knitting huge friendship bracelets in the dashing Jules Mumm colours pink, blue and gold.
BOLD’S Guerilla crew arranged these unique XXL pieces all over the four cities and they also placed thousands of matching small friendship bracelets for girls and their best friends to take away.
